The Masamune
Drops of light slid through her hair,
and poured onto the ground.
Sadness echoed through the air,
as her spirit drowned.
Fell from her a glowing dream,
fell down onto the city.
Fell into the endless stream,
fell from waiting destiny.
And sliced through her, the masamune,
a silver disarray.
Ending all her life too soon,
so she began to pray.
The evil of the masamune,
held by the keeper of her death.
His glaring eyes each an emerald moon,
but now she would stop his breath.
For though her life lay ripped apart,
she needed one thing to rest.
So she tore the masamune from her heart,
and thrust it through his chest.
