When you have at least 100 Stars, go back to the cave of the wind.
He'll be at the exact spot the Star Dragon Sword was at.

After the Greenhil mission.

Choose Valeria when you are given the choice.
If you picked Kasumi instead, her star will later on be replaced by Tomo's.
But if you picked Valeria, Tomo will be in the SoD slot of Kasumi.
Tomo can be found when you go back to Tsai's house when he asks you to, (be sure to take Tsai allong).

After beating Neclord, talk to him in the Drakemounth pass.
Killey
1) Talk to him in South Window and go back to your castle to see him figthing with Alex (You must have Alex to do this, off course).
After that talk to him in South Window again and keep bugging him until he joins.
2) Just talk to him with Lorelai in your party.

MAKE SURE TO WALK UNDER THE BRIDGES IN MUSE AND MEET ELZA ASAP.

1) She's in the pub in Banner. Complement and help her as much as possible, she'll join eventually.

In Kuskus, win 5000 Potch from him at Chichorin.

Joins with Tai Ho.

After the liberation in Greenhill, talk to him in his classroom and give him clay.
Clay can be bougth from a guy in the Northeast of Forest Village.

He's in the apraiser shop in Raddat.
Give him a Celadon Urn, which can be found at several trade posts or from vases dropped by enemies.
Tony
Once you have a LV2 castle, talk to him twice in forest village.
Rikumaru
You can pay his meals in Ryube village, at the beginning of the game, or you can do the
same thing in Coronet if you missed him.
Simone
Buy a Rose Brooch in Banner and give it to him in the port of Radat. (LV2 castle)
Hans
He's at the inn in two river.
You can ask him to join for free, but you can charge him as well and he will pay eventually.
Tuta
You can either get him in Muse, or you can just wait after you beated Solon Jhee and he'll join automatically.
Kasumi/Tomi
Pick Kasumi if you get the choice between her and Valeria.
If you picked Valeria instead, her star will later on be replaced by Tomo's.
But if you picked Kasumi, Tomo will be in the SoD slot of Valeria.
Tomo can be found when you go back to Tsai's house when he asks you to (be sure to take Tsai along).
Mazus
When you have at least 100 stars talk to him in the Tinto mines.
Lorelai
1) Talk to her in Grengmister when your castle is level 3.
2) Talk to her with Killey in your party.
Gijimu
Joins after the Tinto incident.
Gantetsu
He'll be standing in front of South Window's city hall.
When your party's combined strength is higher then 400 (or 500, not sure) he will join.
Connell
Talk to him when your castle is level 3. He's in Forest Village.
Huan
After you defeated Solon Jhee.
Futch
From the Mt. Rakutei quest.
Badeaux
Once you have a level 3 castle, talk to him with an animal in your party.
Kobolds don't work, so any of the Squirrels or Shiro will do.
Mondo
Joins in Rokkaku Hamlet (see "Secrets").
Sasuke
Same as above.
Adlai
Talk to him with a Sacrificial Jizo, Wind Crystal, and a Wooden Shield in your inventory.
He residents in South Window.
Shiro
In Ryube Forest, put the bird nest in the tree and come back a while later.
He and Kinnison should join you.
Emilia
Talk to her behind her desk if you want her to join before the liberation of Greenhil.
You can also just talk to her in the Academy when you liberated it.
Karren
When you have a level 3 castle, talk to her in Kuskus and you'll get yourself in a dancing minigame.
Win this game, and she'll join.
Tenkou
He's in Tinto. Just talk to him with a Window Set in your party.
Annallee
After the nigth raid, go to the South Window inn to see get getting kicked out.
Then talk to her in front of City Hall and listen to her song (though you can only hear it in the
Japanese and European versions).
Leona
Joins when you get your castle.
Raura
Talk to her in Tinto after beating Neclord.
She should join if you got Jeane.
Kinnison
In Ryube Forest, put the bird nest in the tree and come back a while later.
He and Shiro should join you.
Amada
Talk to him in Radat once you beat Solon Jhee.
He'll ask for ANOTHER duel. Win and he will join.
Zamza
You can get him in Toto village at the start of the game.
If you missed him, you can get him in South Window later.

You can find her "pet" in Ryube Forest. Be carefull, he could be pretty tough at low levels.

She has a litle house in Lakewest. Talk to her several times.
Gabocha
Talk to him in the Two-River Kobold district with Gengen in your party.
Hai Yo
When you have a level 2 castle, he'll be bugging somebody in your castle.
Vincent
Go to Radat port with Simone in your party once your castle is level 4.
Mukumuku
Examine the tree in Kyaro at the start of the game.
If you miss him, you can walk trough the Muse/Greenhill border with just Riou in your party.
Beware though, its a pain.
Richmond
Try his coin toss game a couple of times. It's impossible, so talk to a guy in the pub whom will
give you a coin, then talk to Richmond again.
Long Chan Chan
You can find him skipping meals in Crom or Matilda if you have Wakaba in your party.

After the Greenhil liberation, talk to him in Kuskus with Viktor in your party.

Joins at the start of the game.

After finishing the Unicorn quest, talk to her and find her sheep.

protecting a Griffin. Decide to help her, she will join together with Feather (one of the monster characters).

Talk to him in Tinto's armory once you have Peco and Annallee.
Hoi
Find him posing as you in Radat after beating Luca.
Sid
After the Two River mission, take Chaco to see him in the Two River sewers.
Oulan
Create an all-female team (Appart from Riou, off course) and go to Kuskus.
Cross the bridge and witness a scene.
Alex
In the South Window inn.
Bob
Once you have a LV3 castle, talk to him in the Two River Kobold District.
Pico
Once you have Annalee, talk to him in the Greenhill inn.
Templton
Go to the Viktor's merc fortress and see him get kicked out by Highland Soldiers.
After that, talk to him in Toto.
Gordon
Make at least 50,000 potch by trading and talk to him in Grengmister.
Pesmerga
Find him in the room you fought Neclord in the Neclord events. You must have more then 100 stars in order for him to join.
Tempelton/Templeton
Find him in the burned down Evlen Village at any time.
